Using some PACE protection software (usually FX plug-ins) with Hyper Threading enabled causes a lock up or blue screen 

If you have Hyper Threading Enabled, using a peace Protected FX Plug-in can lock up your system or cause it to blue screen. We've seen this with Antares plug-ins specifically, but not the waves plug-ins.

NOTE:You Enable/disable Hyper Threading in  the bios, In the "Main" section of the BIOS it should read "hyper- Threading Technology [Enable/Disabled]"
