Iomega Quick Sync

The information in this article applies to:

  • pyro 1.x

If you are using and Iomega CD drive such a the Zip CD 650, and pyro is crashing on startup you should disable Iomega's Quick Sync. Similar to packet-writing software, Iomega Quick Sync must be disabled for pyro to work optimally.

  1. From the START menu, select Run
  2. Type msconfig and then click OK
  3. Click the 'Startup' tab
  4. Uncheck 'Iomega Quick Sync' and then click OK
  5. If prompted, restart your computer
