How do I burn my projects to an Audio CD

You first need to export your projects as CD quality WAV files.

1.	If your project contains MIDI data, it will need to be rendered as audio for you to be able to export it from Cakewalk. For information about how to convert MIDI data to digital audio, see www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013079/Converting-or-Recording-MIDI-to-Audio.

2.	After your tracks are converted to audio, go to Edit > Select > All to select the entire project.

3.	Go to File > Export > Audio to open the Export Audio dialog box.

4.	Under Filename and Location, enter a filename and select a destination folder.

5.	Under Format, click File Type and select Wave.

6.	Click Channel Format and select Stereo.

7.	Click Sample Rate and select 44100.

8.	Click Bit Depth and select 16. If you use a higher bit depth or sample rate setting it will not burn to CD properly.

9.	Under What to Export, click Source Category and select Entire Mix.

10.	Click Export.

11.	After the project has been export to a Wave file, do one of the following:

Go to Utilities > Burn Audio CD.

Use any 3rd party CD burning software to burn the Wave file to an audio CD.
