This button activates the Mute tool, which allows you to mute an umute individual clips. Set options for this tool by clicking the small down arrow to the right of the button. The Mute tool allows you to edit multiple clips simultaneously, including clips in clip groups.
Tip - Searching Documentation

Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
