  • For more information on the CA-2A Leveling Amplifier, please visit this page.
  • For more information on Z3TA+ 2, please visit this page.

There are also a number of Cakewalk/Roland hardware products that have official Windows 8 drivers available. Drivers for these products are listed below:

With that being said, products not listed above are not officially supported on Windows 8 by Cakewalk and therefore we cannot offer support nor assistance with troubleshooting the functionality of the programs.

We would like to mention, however, that there are many other Windows 7 compatible software products from Cakewalk that will install on Windows 8, and may or may not run without fault. Many users have reported they are running their Cakewalk software in this environment already. To install, however, you may need to install using compatibility mode for Windows 7. The official listing of Windows 7 compatible products is provided here. If your product is listed on this page, it may install even though it was not tested nor is officially supported. If your product is not listed on this page, we have high confidence that it will not work properly on Windows 8.

Please keep in mind that, as with all of our software products, compatibility testing is done during the product's development cycle to ensure optimal performance across a variety of operating systems. Each of our products has specific system requirements in regards to what operating systems and what hardware specifications were tested against and as a result are officially supported and recommended.

All software not listed above was developed well before Microsoft's development and release of Windows 8. As a result, we could not have tested it for future operating systems at the time and many changes to the operating system's architecture may or may not have broken certain features in the application.

If you are considering upgrading to Windows 8, we strongly recommend you also consider upgrading your Cakewalk software to a version that has been developed for Windows 8 and is officially supported.
